When we incorporated as the Secular Humanist Jewish Circle and affiliated with the Society for Humanistic Judaism, we envisioned an organization that would give us a safe space to practice our deeply felt humanistic beliefs of a meaningful Jewish community in a non-theist way. We continue to pursue this goal. Through COVID-19, we endeavored to stay connected through telephone, mail and Zoom, which has helped us feel closer in different ways.

For fiscal year 2024, dues are $175 per household. 

 

These funds help cover expenses such as insurance, our website, Zoom, and our affiliation with the Society for Humanistic Judaism, which has been an invaluable resource for SHJC and our greater community.
